I build the systems
people grow in.

Now

Two decades of operations leadership, most of it spent making sure the people around me could do their best work at a scale bigger than the year before. Delivery models, hiring engines, an office on the other side of the world. Technology is leverage. People are the point.

Experience

Twelve years at AltSource, a custom software firm in Portland. I was hired to organize a five-person development team and left as a partner, by way of five people to more than two hundred and $500K to $30M a year. What actually moved those numbers was a client services model that made delivery predictable and a recruiting engine that kept pace with it.

Six weeks, measured in production

Ninety-one deliverables shipped in six weeks, each one verified live, with zero reverts. AI carried the workload and experience decided what shipped.

More Lines Than Art

What building a woodblock print with AI taught me about the part of the work that does not delegate.

Most of what I know about this came from getting it wrong first.

If you are building it inside a real company, I would like to hear how it is going.
